Current Affairs

BPSC asks current affairs from roughly the 12 to 18 months before the prelims: appointments, awards, sports, reports and indices, government schemes, summits and defence, with a clear Bihar tilt. This section has two kinds of pages. Monthly notes (February, March and April 2026, plus the Bihar round-ups for April and May 2026) give you the facts in revision-ready points. Quizzes turn them into practice: the Budget 2026-27 and Economic Survey quiz (185 questions), the global indices and reports quiz, and sets on sports, awards and science and technology.

Work month by month, and after each month’s notes sit the matching quiz within a week. In the final month before the exam, revise the Bihar round-ups first; BPSC’s Bihar-specific current affairs questions are the ones most candidates miss. For the exam timeline, see the 72nd BPSC 2026 page.
